Short bio:

In 1996 Nikolay Tzvetkov obtained a Master degree from the University of Sofia under the supervision of V. Georgiev and I. Iordanov. He obtained a PhD degree from the University of Paris Sud in 1999 under the supervision of Jean-Claude Saut. From 2000 to 2004 Nikolay Tzvetkov was a junior CNRS researcher. From 2004 to 2009 he stand Professor at the University of Lille 1. Since 2009 Nikolay Tzvetkov is a Professor of mathematics at the University of Cergy-Pontoise.
His research field is partial differential equations and more precisely the mathematical analysis of nonlinear waves with a particular interest in regularity issues, stability of solitary waves and the propagation of random waves.
