Kiril Datchev obtained a PhD from the University of California, Berkeley in 2010 under the supervision of Maciej Zworski. From 2010 to 2014 he was a CLE Moore Instructor and NSF Postdoctoral Fellow at MIT, and during this time he also had shorter visiting positions as a postdoc at MSRI and at Universite Paris 13. Since 2014 he has been an Assistant Professor at Purdue University. His research fields are partial differential equations and mathematical physics, and more specifically semiclassical analysis and scattering theory.
